2025 Annual Campaign

Protecting important wildlife habitat and ensuring our community has access to green space takes dedicated people and financial resources to make it possible. Every fall, we launch a fundraising campaign to secure the support needed to keep this work going strong. Your donations directly fund the staff, tools, and programs that make it possible to protect land, care for it through ongoing stewardship, and provide safe, accessible opportunities for everyone to connect with nature.

This year, we’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $30,000 by the end of December. Reaching this target will allow us to continue our conservation efforts, expand our impact, and ensure that the places we all care about remain protected for generations to come.

Letter From the President

Our name has changed, but our mission has not! The Central Algoma Land Trust (formerly The Kensington Conservancy) continues to grow as an organization. Over the past few years, we have been very successful in establishing new preserves, safeguarding important habitats for wildlife and ensuring that future generations can enjoy the natural beauty of our region. Our community education and research projects are very popular, and there are many more exciting opportunities in the works. We need your continuing support!

Naturally, growth creates the need for additional resources to manage these lands and programs responsibly—and that requires increased funding.

For this year’s Annual Campaign, I am asking that you consider increasing your donation (or to make your first one!) to help us continue this important work.

Thank you for your generosity and for your commitment to local conservation!

Sincerely,

Richard Warren
President
Board of Directors
