Annual memberships help cover essential operating costs and keep the Central Algoma Land Trust active and engaged in the community. Membership fees are designed to be accessible so that everyone can take part, regardless of your stage of life. By becoming a member, you join a collective effort to protect and preserve the natural beauty and wildlife that matter to the entire community.

Memberships are tax deductible and run on a calendar-year basis. Membership benefits remain active unless a full calendar year has passed without renewal. We encourage members to renew once each calendar year to continue supporting our work.

Visit our conservation centre at 69 Boyer Drive in Desbarats to join or renew in person. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you are making a special trip, please call ahead at 705-782-2200, as the nature of our work sometimes takes all staff away from the centre during regular hours. Cash, cheques, and major credit cards can be accepted in person.

U.S. taxpayers who wish to support the work of the Central Algoma Land Trust while receiving U.S. tax benefits are encouraged to donate to the Friends of Central Algoma Land Trust. This U.S. based nonprofit organization is committed to supporting land conservation efforts in the Central Algoma region and regularly provides financial grants to the Central Algoma Land Trust. Donations of $35 or more to the Friends of Central Algoma Land Trust will be eligible for a membership with the Central Algoma Land Trust.
