Gravel Point Wintery Snowshoe

Written by Jazmin Gall, Field Technician

This week, Corinne and I led a guided snowshoe along our Gravel Point Preserve Hiking Trails. We explored just under 4 km of trails, taking in the sights and sounds of the forest in winter.

Despite the chilly weather, there were plenty of highlights; snow-covered trees, two White-tailed Deer spotted near the boardwalk, and great company throughout the hike. Fresh snow also revealed countless deer tracks crossing the trail, making it surprising that we only saw two!
