Central Algoma Land Trust protects the very best of what all of us love in Central Algoma - undeveloped sight-lines of rocky shores, towering white pines and blue water, creeks that now run clear thanks to stream preservation, the sounds of warblers, woodpeckers, cranes, wrens, loons, and hundreds of other bird species in the woods and fields and the sight of a chipmunk, moose, otter, mink or beaver at work in the natural world. All of this is available to residents of our area thanks to the amazing efforts of the staff and the hundreds of people who give of their time and money so that each of these amazing experiences can be absorbed by all of us.
