Junior Explorers

A fun and free drop-in nature program for children ages 4 to 8 and their families. Explore, learn, and enjoy the outdoors together at the Central Algoma Land Trust Conservation Centre. No registration is needed, just come and join the adventure.




Program Details

This environmental education and outdoor appreciation program is designed for children aged 4 to 8 and their families. It encourages exploration and learning about nature in a fun, engaging way.

The program has recently been revamped for easier access:

  • No registration is required — all sessions are drop-in.

  • There is no participation fee, but donations are gratefully accepted to help support the program.

  • Youth-sized Junior Explorer t-shirts will be available for purchase during sessions (while quantities last).

All sessions take place at the Central Algoma Land Trust Conservation Centre, located at 69 Boyer Drive in Desbarats, unless otherwise indicated.
