Presentations

Our presentations help connect people to local conservation and the work of the Central Algoma Land Trust. We offer engaging talks on land protection, stewardship, and wildlife, tailored to community groups, schools, and organizations. Presentations are available both in person and virtually.

About Our Presentations

We are able to give presentations, ranging from approximately 15 to 60 minutes in length, about a variety of topics, including:

  • What the Central Algoma Land Trust is and the work that we do

  • What landowners can do to help protect their properties

  • Information about our Bat Monitoring and Education Program and the results its produce so far

  • Birding tips and tricks within the Algoma District

  • Our wildlife monitoring programs

  • eBird, iNaturalist, and other community science programs

  • Plant and wildlife identification, including birds, mammals, insects, and wildflowers

Interested in Having Us Give a Presentation?

If you would like our team to give a presentation to your group, please do not hesitate to contact us. The more advance notice you can provide, the better, as our schedules can fill up quickly. While we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date, scheduling conflicts may occasionally make this difficult.

Presentations can be delivered either in person or virtually. We generally do not charge a fee, however, in some situations we may need to request compensation to make a presentation possible.
